Remember the days when you made paper bag Valentine mailboxes and you gave cards to everyone in your class? We still do and in honor of our upcoming SPOONS TOONS & BOOZE one year anniversary at Nitehawk Cinema, and Valentine’s Day Special on February 23rd and 24th, we’ve put together a special menu of cartoons about love and all that sappy stuff. We’ve also put together some of our favorite cartoon character Valentine’s cards! Enjoy!
1. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”

I knew Bebop and Rocksteady had a forbidden love thing going on.
2. “He-Man”

You’re alone on Valentine’s, right? Here, spend all day coloring this giant card, virgin.
3. “Kellogg’s Cereal”

Even the cereal mascots got in on the card racket, though Dig’em Frog kind of phoned it in.
4. “Pac-Man”

Be my Pac-Valentine or so help me Pac-God I will track you down and…
(aka Ms. Pac-Man takes out a restraining order)
5. “Aladdin”

Pssst, dude, her name is Jasmine!
6. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”

Because in 1992 kids loved references to black and white films from 1942.
7. “Ren & Stimpy”

Despite the show being disgusting, violent and often censored… here you go, kids! Express your feelings!
8. “The Jetsons”

Now, class, we all know what nuts and bolts are euphemisms for, right? That’s correct, the things male robots keep in their bottom drawer.
9. “Batman”

Nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like cards for children featuring a mentally unstable, violent vigilante and his nightmarish, homicidal rogue’s gallery. And nothing says you’re gonna be picked on forever than giving your teacher a Valentine.
10. “Batman”

Did I mention I witnessed my parents murder? So seriously, don’t break my heart.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
“DuckTales”

“Tiny Toon Adventures”

“Doug”

“Batman”

Yes, please.
“The Simpsons”

Best. Valentine. Ever.
